PROBLEM: I bought a Digitech Bluetooth USB 'dongle' XC-4956 from Jaycar consumer electronics (a store like Sick Smith). I installed it on an ACER Aspire 5380TG 64 bit running Win7, since that laptop didn't have inbuilt BT hardware. Then I tried to connect a very 'sexy' Microsoft 'Wedge' keyboard. The install software (basically BT stack and hw driver) that is supplied with the dongle failed to recognise the kb. SOLUTION: I went to the Toshiba site, which automatically handed me on to Microsoft.com, which then seemed to sense that I had Win7-64bit, and installed a generic stack and driver, and VOILA! Hubristic happiness.
